Andrew Kimbro

Andrew Kimbro is an experienced educator and designer currently serving as a Part-Time Assistant Professor at Parsons School of Design since January 2022. In addition to teaching, Andrew holds various roles at the institution, including Assistant Manager for the N2 General Shop and L2 Tool Checkout, and Technician in Wood and Metal. Previous experience includes positions such as Assistant Supervisor for the Fabrication Shop at New York Institute of Technology, Designer and Fabricator at Monkey in the Metal, Research Technician at Maryland Institute College of Art, Woodshop Manager at Harbour School & Innovative, Production Designer at Wellborn + Wright, and Package Design & Innovation Intern at Sun Products Corporation. Andrew Kimbro holds a Master of Science in Strategic Design and Management from Parsons School of Design and a Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial and Product Design from Virginia Tech.
