Glenn Shrum is an esteemed educator and practitioner in the field of lighting design, serving as Associate Professor and Director of the MFA Lighting Design Program at Parsons School of Design since December 2014. With a background that includes previous roles as Assistant Professor and faculty member at various institutions, Shrum has significantly contributed to lighting design education, establishing curricula that emphasize the intellectual, aesthetic, historical, and technical aspects of the discipline. As the Principal and Founder of Flux Studio Ltd, Shrum has designed light art and lighting installations for notable projects such as the Baltimore Museum of Art and the Blue Note Jazz Club in New York.
