Rijk van Zanten

Rijk van Zanten is the CTO and Co-Founder of Directus, a position held since February 2020, and serves as a part-time lecturer at Parsons School of Design - The New School since August 2023. Previous roles include part-time professor at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and lead developer at RANGER Studio. Rijk van Zanten also has experience as a super intern at XXIX, a teaching assistant at The New School, and an all-round web developer at Occhio bv. Rijk van Zanten's educational background includes a Master of Professional Studies in Communication Design from The New School and a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Multimedia Design from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, alongside a VWO from Almere College Kampen. Additionally, Rijk van Zanten served as an advisory board member for the Faculty of Digital Media and Creative Industry at Hogeschool van Amsterdam.
