Rodrigo Vargas

Rodrigo Vargas is a distinguished professional in the fields of molecular biology and biochemistry. Currently serving as the coordinator of the master's program in molecular biology at Universidad Galileo since July 2019, Rodrigo also holds the position of scientific director at Biofarn, where work has been ongoing since January 2017. Prior to these roles, Rodrigo coordinated the Chemistry Area at Universidad Mariano Gálvez de Guatemala from July 2015 to November 2017, contributing to the Instituto de Investigaciones Químicas Biológicas Biomédicas y Biofísicas. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Biomedical Sciences from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala, a Master's in Molecular Biology from Universidad Galileo, and another Master's in Biotechnology from Aliter, Escuela Internacional de Negocios. Rodrigo began academic pursuits with a Bachelor's in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala.
