Torin Blankensmith

Torin Blankensmith is an accomplished technology professional and educator, currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Parsons School of Design - The New School, where Torin teaches courses on TouchDesigner and immersive environments. With extensive experience as Associate Director of Technology at Studio Elsewhere, Torin has focused on developing large-scale immersive environments aimed at alleviating stress for medical professionals and aiding in neuroscience research. Torin's prior roles include positions as a Creative Technologist at various companies, where Torin created interactive simulations, real-time audio-reactive visuals, and innovative web experiences. A graduate in Human Computer Interaction from the University of Washington, Torin has been involved in numerous projects at notable organizations, including Google and Microsoft, enhancing engagement with emerging technologies.
