James D.

James D. has a diverse work experience. James started their career at The New York Racing Association in 2012 as a Sponsorship Sales Assistant, and later worked their way up to Manager of Special Events, Director of Special Events, and Director of Race Day Operations. Currently, James holds the position of Senior Director of Operations at the same company. Prior to this, they worked as a Partner Relations Associate at SmartBrief from 2010 to 2012. James also gained experience as a Marketing & Promotions Intern at The New York Racing Association in 2009, and as a Program Manager, Student Caller, and Office Assistant at Skidmore College from 2007 to 2010.

James D. completed their Bachelor's degree in Management and Business, Marketing, and American Studies at Skidmore College in 2010. James then obtained additional certifications in Operations Management from Cornell University in November 2022 and in The 4 Essential Roles of Leadership from FranklinCovey in 2022.
