Paul Cummins Cfa, Caia

Paul Cummins, CFA, CAIA has a strong background in investment management and quantitative strategies. Paul currently serves as the Managing Director of Public Equities at the NYS Teachers' Retirement System. Prior to this role, they were the Manager of Quantitative Strategies at the same organization. Before joining the NYS Teachers' Retirement System, Paul worked at Barclays Global Investors as a Principal and Senior Portfolio Manager. Paul also gained experience as a Consultant at Barra. Paul'swork experience spans over three decades, with a focus on portfolio management and quantitative analysis.

Paul Cummins, CFA, CAIA, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics & Statistics from the University of Sussex, which they obtained between 1987 and 1990. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Finance from the London Business School from 1993 to 1995. In addition to their academic achievements, Paul Cummins obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder certification from the CFA Institute in September 2013. Furthermore, they also hold the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charterholder certification from the CAIA Association, which they attained in November 2020.
