Erica Mandy

Erica Mandy has been in the news industry for over a decade. Erica began their career in 2007 as a Television News Anchor, Reporter and Supervising Producer for KMIZ-TV (JW Broadcasting). In 2008, they also took on the role of Online Anchor and Producer for Newsy.com. In 2011, they moved to KATU-TV, where they worked as a Television News Reporter and Anchor, reporting on local startup companies for specialized TV segments and the station's online blog. In 2014, they began working for CBS News as a Television News Reporter, producing and presenting breaking news and award-winning stories on live TV, radio and social media. In 2017, Erica founded The NewsWorthy, a show that has been featured across media platforms, from Apple Podcasts recommendations page to Fast Company's list of the best news apps. As the Founder, CEO and Host of The NewsWorthy, Erica makes it faster, easier and more fun to stay up-to-date with today's news.

Erica Mandy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Indiana University Bloomington and a Graduate Certificate in Convergence Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
