The Night Ministry
Jenny Merritt is an experienced community engagement professional currently serving as the Community Engagement Manager at The Night Ministry since December 2013, where responsibilities include promoting the organization's mission, building partnerships, and coordinating referral processes. Previously, Jenny worked as a Research Associate at the UIC Center for Clinical and Translational Science, focusing on clinical research data and collaboration among health sciences faculty. Other roles include Program Coordinator for the Pipeline to Health Careers at the Greater Humboldt Park Community of Wellness, where Jenny developed a career preparation program for youth, and Health Educator at Pedro Albizu Campos High School, where an innovative public health curriculum was designed. Jenny holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
