Taichi Sakagawa

Taichi Sakagawa currently serves as the Head of Alternative Investments and Deputy Global Head of Credit and Alternative Investments at Norinchukin Bank since April 2023, focusing on hedge fund, private debt, and private equity investments. Previously, Taichi held the position of General Manager and Head of Investment Management at Norinchukin Trust & Banking Co., Ltd., where management efforts led to a tripling of assets under management for a multi-asset fund of funds. Taichi's extensive experience at Norinchukin Bank includes roles as Senior Manager for Alternative Investments, Investment Manager in London and for Asia and Emerging Markets, and Portfolio Manager for Equity Investment. Taichi began the career as an Operations Officer at Norinchukin Trust & Banking Co., Ltd. Taichi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural and Resources Economics from The University of Tokyo and studied at the University of London.
