Sanjeewa Fernando

Sanjeewa Fernando is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and database management. Since January 2018, Sanjeewa has served as the Senior Manager of Cloud Infrastructure and Database at The NRMA, overseeing Google Cloud Platform and Oracle Cloud Platform operations. Previous roles include Senior DMA and Infrastructure Architect and Senior Consultant Team Lead at Capgemini, as well as Database Administration positions at Etisalat and Lanka Bell. Sanjeewa possesses certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) DBA and holds advanced degrees in Information Technology and Commerce from the University of Colombo. Sanjeewa's expertise encompasses cloud infrastructure design, database migration, and vendor management, contributing significantly to various technological advancements and operational efficiencies throughout a progressive career.
