Eva Melinde de Groot

Eva Melinde de Groot is an experienced project manager and programme officer currently working at Voedingscentrum since October 2018, focusing on low socio-economic positions and sustainable food initiatives. Previous roles include front desk staff at Sports Centre de Bongerd Wageningen and completing thesis fieldwork for the Young Boxing Woman Project, where semi-structured interviews and observations were conducted. Eva also served as a commissioner of publicity for SWU Thymos, acting as a full-time board member of the Sports Foundation of Wageningen University. Prior experience includes a customer service role at DierenPark Amersfoort. Educationally, Eva holds a Master of Science in Communication, Health and Life Sciences with a specialization in Health and Society and a Bachelor of Science in International Development Studies, both from Wageningen University & Research, as well as pre-university education in Nature and Health.
