Nathan Hand

Nathan Hand has extensive experience in the field of nonprofit management and fundraising. Nathan has held positions such as Chief Advancement Officer and Director of Advancement at The Oaks Academy, where they contributed to the organization's advancement initiatives. Nathan has also worked as a Faculty member at Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, specializing in fundraising. Additionally, they have been a Consultant, trainer, and speaker at www.NonprofitNate.com, providing expertise in capital campaign planning, social media management, annual fund, donor relations, and marketing. Nathan has served as an Advisory Panel member at Rogare and a Board Member at Brackets For Good, raising over $10 million for the organization. Other roles include Vice President of Development at The Mind Trust and Vice President of Marketing & Development at School on Wheels. Nathan started their career as a Senior Development Associate at Christel House International and had a role as a Graduate Assistant at the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University. Nathan also served as the Coordinator of Volunteer Programs at the University of Idaho.

Nathan Hand began their education at DePauw University in 1999, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Political Science. Nathan completed their undergraduate studies in 2003. In 2002, Hand attended American University for a semester, focusing on transforming communities.

After obtaining their bachelor's degree, Hand attended Georgetown University from 2003 to 2004, where they obtained an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Management. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Philanthropic Studies at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis from 2007 to 2009.
