Robin Shaw has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They have held positions such as Head of School, PK Education Center at The Oaks Academy since June 2022. Prior to that, they were a Foundations Teacher at The Oaks Academy from August 2021 to June 2022 and Recruitment Manager from October 2018 to September 2021. In 2005, they joined RFS, IN Department of Workforce Development, Civil Rights Commission as an Attorney, Administrative Law Judge, and Volunteer Justice Advocate, where they served until June 2022. They also worked as an Editor In Chief at H.R.S. Editorial from June 2016 to September 2021 and as a Writer at Izanau from June 2016 to June 2017. In addition, they held the position of Assistant Director Of Admissions at The Oaks Academy from 2011 to 2014, and Professor (School of Justice Studies) and PLA Director at Martin University from 2010 to 2011. They started their career at Harris-Stowe State University in 2005, where they served as a Professor, Vice President for Administration, Executive Assistant to the President, teaching various courses, developing policies, and providing student advisement.

Robin Shaw has a diverse education history. They began their academic journey by obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biological and Physical Sciences from The University of Missouri - Columbia, which they completed from 1996 to 1999. In 1999, Robin pursued further education and simultaneously earned a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) degree in Community Empowerment and Program Development from The University of Georgia, as well as a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree in Law from The University of Chicago. Their studies at The University of Chicago and The University of Georgia spanned from 1999 to 2004. More recently, Robin completed a Certificate in Early Education Leadership from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, which they wrapped up in 2022.
