Ryan du Plessis

Ryan du Plessis is a skilled finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and project management. Currently serving as Project Manager - Rivers at The Ocean Cleanup since July 2021, Ryan also holds a role as Senior Financial Accountant, acting as a finance business partner for the Rivers division. Prior to this, Ryan worked as a Financial Accountant at Brooks Running and as an Audit Senior at Deloitte Nederland. Ryan's auditing expertise was further developed at Mazars South Africa, where a diverse range of companies across various industries were audited. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Financial Accounting from Stellenbosch University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town.
