Chuck Backus

Chuck Backus is a graphic designer currently working at The Ohio State University since August 2023, focusing on graphic design for the Sports and Society Initiative while managing communication and progress reporting. Previously, Chuck served as a junior designer at Applied Experience (AXP) from November 2021 to June 2023, where responsibilities included editing patents, creating CAD models, and completing various projects independently. Additionally, Chuck was involved with Pi Lambda Phi Fraternity, initially as a member of the Recruitment Data Team from March 2020 to May 2022, collaborating with the Vice President of Recruitment to analyze recruitment data and enhance membership growth, and later as Recruitment Captain, guiding potential new member selection. Chuck is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Product Design at The Ohio State University, having previously attended Lorain County Community College and participated in high school education at Olmsted Falls High School and Polaris Career Center.
