Karl Koon

Karl Koon is an experienced professional in development and program management, currently serving as the Director of Development and Rider Recruitment for Team Buckeye at The Ohio State University since March 2011. In this role, Karl Koon is responsible for creating and executing strategic plans for Team Buckeye, which participates in Pelotonia to raise funds for cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center. Prior experience includes a long tenure as a Personal Assistant to a prominent philanthropist, where Karl Koon managed daily operations and communication with various stakeholders, and held the roles of Program Director and Executive Director at the David M. Winfield Foundation. Karl Koon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from The Ohio State University.
