Mary Juhas

Mary Juhas is an accomplished leader in engineering research and education with extensive experience in various prestigious roles. Currently serving as President of The Juhas Group and Co-Chair of the Government Engagement Working Group at the Engineering Research Visioning Alliance, Mary plays a crucial role in promoting engineering research initiatives. As Professor Emerita at The Ohio State University, Mary has significantly contributed to advancing women in STEMM through various leadership roles, including Associate Vice President of Research and Clinical Professor in Materials Science & Engineering. Mary has also held positions at the National Science Foundation and was instrumental as a Senior Research Engineer at EWI, specializing in friction stir welding. Mary holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering from The Ohio State University and has garnered valuable experience through education and research leadership.
