Neil Kirby

Neil Kirby is a Senior Lecturer in computer science at The Ohio State University since April 2018. In addition, Neil has been the Owner of Maplewood Technical Services since 1995. Previous roles include Member of Technical Staff at Nokia from 2016 to 2018, where responsibilities included .NET and SQL Server application development and software development process consulting, and work on TL9000/CMMI certification tools. At Alcatel-Lucent from 2006 to 2016, Neil focused on .NET and SQL Server application development, as well as prototyping for Bell Labs Research. Neil's career began at Lucent Technologies, where from 1996 to 2006, .NET technology was introduced to the Software Technology Center, and notable software prototypes were delivered, including a significant project completed ahead of schedule. Neil holds both a Master's degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
