Run Wang

Run Wang is an experienced application developer currently working at Computer Packages Inc. since June 2023. Previously, Run held the position of Machine Learning Engineer Intern at Carnegie Mellon University from May 2022 to June 2023, where substantial contributions included developing machine learning and computer vision methods in Python to extract component-level information from engineering drawings. Run successfully implemented an in-house graph-based segmentation model using PyTorch, achieving over 90% accuracy. Additionally, Run interned as a Software Engineer at RPI-IBM Cognitive and Immersive Systems Lab in 2020, collaborating on projects under Dr. Jeffrey O. Run Wang obtained a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in May 2023, following a Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, earned in 2021.
