Aya abu Sheikha

Aya Abu Sheikha is a dedicated researcher and educator with extensive experience in molecular and cellular biosciences. Currently serving as a Graduate Student Research Associate at Wake Forest University since August 2019, Aya has previously held significant roles such as Lab Supervisor for Sample Preparation and Imaging at the University of Jordan's Cell Therapy Center and a Part Time Teacher and Research Assistant at Jordan University of Science and Technology. Aya's research contributions include published work on the association of heat shock proteins with gastric cancer, and expertise spans general biology and protein biotechnology education, reinforced by a Master of Science in Applied Biological Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology from Jordan University of Science and Technology.
