Tracy Owens

Tracy Owens serves as an Associate Professor of Practice at The Ohio State University since December 2019, focusing on Lean Six Sigma and Innovation Management while mentoring students on capstone projects for various organizations. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Continuous Improvement and Vice President at PNC, where process improvement capabilities were enhanced, and as CI Director at LexisNexis, contributing to significant financial impacts through optimized processes. Additional teaching experience at Capital University involved guiding MBA students on Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Tracy Owens has a Master’s degree in International Business from Seattle University and a Bachelor of Science from Excelsior University, with a strong background in operational leadership spanning multiple industries, including significant roles at Smiths Medical, AIG, Penske Logistics, and PACCAR.
