Penny Cockerell

Penny Cockerell is an experienced professional with a background in journalism and public affairs. As a reporter for The Oklahoman, Penny has honed reporting skills in a dynamic newsroom environment. In addition to their journalistic pursuits, Penny has served as a Public Affairs Officer in both the United States Navy and the United States Navy Reserve since 1990, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to military communication and public relations. Penny holds a degree from the University of Central Oklahoma, where studies were completed from 1988 to 1992.
