Rowena Russell

Rowena Russell is the current Deputy Executive Director at The Old Vic. Prior to this, they served as an Assistant to the Managing Directors at National Theatre from May 2012 to March 2015. Rowena has also worked as a Front of House Assistant at Ambassador Theatre Group from November 2010 to May 2012, and as a Development Coordinator at The Brewhouse Theatre and Arts Centre from November 2010 to May 2012. In this latter role, they were responsible for delivering the Development Strategy in order to increase fundraising income.

Rowena Russell attended Falmouth University, where they earned a BA in Theatre. Rowena also attended Haberdashers' Askes's Hatchem College for their high school education. In addition, they have a certification from Duolingo in Duolingo French Fluency: Elementary.

Rowena Russell reports to Laura Stevenson, Executive Director. Some of their coworkers include Liz Sillett - Director of Operations & External Relationships, Joanna Down - Chief Marketing Officer, and Panni Kanyuk - Head of Individual Giving.
