Dieter Poetzschke

Dieter Poetzschke is an experienced technology manager with a strong background in agile development and extensive experience in software architecture and project management. Currently serving as the Manager of Agile Development at The Open Group since October 2021, Dieter implements corporate technology strategies. Prior to this role, Dieter spent over 35 years at IBM Corporation, where achievements included leading teams in developing capabilities for federal agencies, architecting solutions for major projects such as the World Bank Domino Upgrade, and managing various software development initiatives. Dieter's early career includes positions at Vitro Corporation, focusing on defense systems, and an educational foundation with a BSEE degree from Virginia Tech.
