Frode Myren

Distinguished Chief/lead IT Architect at The Open Group

Frode Myren has extensive work experience in the technology industry, primarily with IBM. Frode began their tenure at IBM in 1996 as a Certified Senior IT Architect, eventually progressing to the role of Distinguished Engineer. Throughout their time at IBM, Frode also held various leadership positions such as CTO Software Group Nordics, Head of Technical Business Group, and Chair of the SWG Europe Technical Strategy Council. Frode was recognized as a Senior Certified Executive Architect and a member of the IBM Academy of Technology. Frode retired as an IBM Distinguished Engineer in July 2020. In addition to their work at IBM, they also worked at The Open Group as a Distinguished Chief/Lead IT Architect and at POSC Caesar Association as a Member of the Board. Prior to joining IBM, Frode worked at IBM Norway as an Executive Software Architect.
