Elizabeth Philpott

Elizabeth Philpott is an experienced educator with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as an educator at The Orchard School since August 1998, Elizabeth has worked in various roles including multiage preschool co-teacher, first-grade learning support, and second-grade classroom teacher, while also mentoring student teachers and colleagues. Prior experience includes serving as an academic coach for a self-employed private tutoring business and as a classroom teacher and Reading Specialist in the Casey-Westfield School District. Elizabeth holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Southern Illinois University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Illinois University. A dedication to continuous professional development is evident through participation in workshops and conferences, along with certifications in CPR.
