Emily Hebbron

Interim Community Engagement Coordinator, Volunteers at The Oregon Community Foundation

Emily Hebbron has a diverse work experience spanning from 2001 to present. Emily is currently working as an Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Equity and Culture at The Oregon Community Foundation since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Lecture Series and Faculty Coordinator at Reed College from 2016 to 2023. Before joining Reed College, Emily worked as a Field Representative and Casework Manager for Rep. Earl Blumenauer in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2010 to 2016. Emily also interned for Rep. Earl Blumenauer from 2008 to 2009. Emily has a background in public health, having worked as a Public Health Laboratory Intern at the University of New Mexico in 2006. Emily started their career as a Laboratory Research Assistant at Penn State University from 2001 to 2005.

Emily Hebbron completed their BA with Honors degree in Social Anthropology with a specialization in Archaeology and Anthropology from the University of Cambridge, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Emily holds an additional certification in Foundations of Project Management, which they obtained from Google in September 2023. Emily also pursued studies in Health Care Administration and Gerontology at Portland State University, although the specific duration and completion of a degree in this field are unknown.
