Kay Atanda

Sustainability Fellow at The Oxford SDG Impact Lab

Kay Atanda is a seasoned professional in sustainability and foreign policy, currently serving as a Sustainability Fellow at The Oxford SDG Impact Lab since December 2023. With significant experience at The World Bank in strategy, operations, and policy since September 2016, Kay has also held various impactful roles, including UNAOC Fellow at the United Nations from May 2017 to June 2018 and positions focused on sustainable development at the UK Mission and as a Foreign Affairs Fellow with the U.S. Department of State. Additional notable experiences include work at The White House, both in the Office of Budget & Management and the Office of Legislative Affairs, along with a fellowship at the Salzburg Global Seminar and a brief engagement in the New York State Assembly. Kay holds a Master of Public Policy with a specialization in sustainability from the University of Oxford, a Master’s Degree in Foreign Policy & Human Rights from Columbia University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science & Public Policy from the Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership.
