Laz Apir

Laz Apir is an accomplished Advocacy Manager at The Palladium Group since July 2022, with a strong background in civic engagement and governance. Laz founded the Civic Space & Rights Initiative, focusing on enhancing citizen participation in governance from August 2018 to June 2022. Previous roles include Advisor at the National Democratic Institute, MEL Specialist at DevTech Systems, Project Associate at the Centre for Democracy & Development, and Master Trainer/Consultant at YIAGA Africa, specializing in training PVT observers. Earlier experience also includes Program Manager for election initiatives at the Centre for Civic Education and roles in monitoring and evaluation at Project Swift Count and JDPC. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Benue State University and a Diploma in Nonviolent Conflict from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.
