Cary Goldstein is a seasoned marketing and media consultant currently at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford (d.school) since April 2021. Goldstein serves as an advisory editor for The Paris Review and has a diverse background that includes executive producer roles for The Free Press and program director for Fortune's Brainstorm Design 2023 event in Macau. Goldstein has also worked as a creative consultant for the Decolonizing Wealth Project and co-produced the New Jersey Performing Arts Center's PHILIP ROTH UNBOUND event. Prior experience includes heading curation at WaitWhat, and serving as VP and executive director of publicity at Simon and Schuster, where membership on the leadership team contributed significantly to the imprint's success. Additional contributions encompass involvement with the Association of American Publishers' Trade Publishers Executive Committee and teaching as an adjunct professor at Columbia University's Graduate Writing Program. Goldstein holds a Bachelor of Arts in Poetry and Religions from New York University.
