Ellis Rosen

Freelance Illustrator at The Paris Review

Ellis Rosen has a diverse and extensive work experience as a cartoonist and illustrator. Starting in 2013, Rosen worked as an Illustrator for Little, Brown and Company for two years. In 2016, they joined The New Yorker as a Cartoonist, a role they continue to hold. In 2017, they freelanced as a Cartoonist for Barron's and also worked as a Freelance Illustrator for The Paris Review. Rosen then worked as a Cartoonist for Weekly Humorist from June to December 2018. In 2019, they began working as a Freelance Illustrator for The Washington Post, and as a Cartoonist for WIRED and Air Mail. Ellis briefly worked as a Cartoonist for MAD Magazine and as a Comic for opinion art at The New York Times in 2020. Overall, Ellis Rosen has built a successful career in the fields of cartooning and illustration with a wide range of publications.

Ellis Rosen attended the Savannah College of Art and Design from 2010 to 2012. During this period, they pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree with a focus on Sequential Art.
