Michelle Tavares serves as the Director of Food and Beverage at The Peabody Memphis since August 2013, overseeing a diverse range of dining operations and a large staff while focusing on budgeting, forecasting, and operational initiatives. Previous roles include Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at Cheeca Lodge and Spa, where Michelle managed multiple restaurant outlets, catering services, and achieved several Wine Spectator Awards. Earlier experience encompasses management positions at Penn State University, The Hummingbird Room, Java Company, and Toftrees Resort, demonstrating a strong career trajectory in food and beverage management. Michelle holds a BA in Sociology from Rowan University.
