Bob Wild began their work experience as a Senior in Federal Tax Practice at Arthur Young & Co. (now Ernst & Young - EY) in 1983. Bob then moved on to Burke Wilson & McIlvaine, where they worked as a Corporate and Securities Associate, specializing in corporate and public finance. In 1991, Bob became a Corporate and Securities Partner at Patzik, Frank & Samotny Ltd., advising on notable securities offerings and mergers and acquisitions. Bob continued this role at Mayer Brown LLP from 1998 to 2007, working on notable securities offerings and M&A transactions. Bob then joined Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP as a Corporate and Securities Partner, representing public companies and counseling regional bank holding companies. In 2013, they became a Corporate and Securities Partner and the Chicago Regional Executive Partner at Krieg DeVault LLP, advising issuers on stock and debt offerings and representing companies in M&A transactions. Currently, Bob is employed as the General Counsel and Chief Risk Officer at The Pension Boards–United Church of Christ, Inc., where they provide legal advice and assesses enterprise risk.
Bob Wild attended Loyola Academy from 1975 to 1979 for their high school education. After completing high school, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Public Accounting from Loyola University Chicago, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science in Taxation (M.S.T.) degree at DePaul University, which they completed between 1984 and 1987. Bob went on to attend Loyola University Chicago School of Law from 1986 to 1989, earning a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
