Suzanne Edwards-Acton

Suzanne Edwards-Acton currently serves as the Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer at The People Concern, a position held since November 2022. Prior to this role, Suzanne was the Director of Equity Initiatives and Field Director for Los Angeles Urban Teacher Residency at the Center for Collaborative Education from November 2016 to November 2022. Additionally, Suzanne served as Program Director at Jubilee Consortium from July 2011 to August 2017 and held the positions of Principal and 7th grade math teacher at PUC Schools from August 2007 to June 2011. Suzanne's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Education - School Leadership from Loyola Marymount University (2007-2009), a Master's Degree in Pastoral Ministry - Spiritual Formation from the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest (1995-1997), and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from UC San Diego (1982-1987).
