Karen Summerton

Karen Summerton is a seasoned professional in the fields of acting, improvisation, and coaching, currently serving as the CEO and Founder of Actors Career Studios since January 2021, where classes are offered in improvisation for the camera and private audition coaching. With extensive experience as a performer at The Peoples Improv Theater since 2011, Karen has participated in numerous comedic productions. Previous roles include Acting & Improv Teacher at MN Acting Studio, Producer, Director, and Writer at Maker Studios Inc., and Co-Host for LittleThings' weekly live news show. Karen holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Broadcasting and Acting from LIU Post and has trained at Upright Citizens Brigade and Groundlings.
