Sandra Rowland is an accomplished flutist and music educator with extensive experience in various teaching and performance roles. Since June 2011, Sandra has been working as a self-employed musician and flute instructor. In addition, Sandra served as the Personnel Manager and Librarian for the Skokie Valley Symphony Orchestra, while also performing as a flute and piccolo player. Sandra has held positions with Lakeside Flutes as a Board Member and with the Lake Shore Symphony Orchestra as an alto flutist and substitute flutist. Other notable roles include flute faculty at The People's Music School, serving on the board of the Chicago Flute Club, and substitute piccolo player for the Chicago Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra. Sandra's professional journey is complemented by a Master of Arts in Flute Performance from Eastern Michigan University and an Early Childhood Certificate from the Michigan Montessori Teacher Education Center.
