Laura Simberg

Laura Simberg is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as In-House Counsel at The Phia Group, LLC since April 2024. Prior to this role, Laura held the position of Associate General Counsel at Conduent from 2007, focusing on litigation management, business strategy development for insurance claims, client development, and contract negotiations, with extensive expertise in ERISA, Medicare, Medicaid, Worker’s Compensation Statutes, and Mass Tort cases. Laura's earlier experience includes serving as Corporate Attorney at ACS Recovery Services, A Xerox Company (2001-2006), where proficiency in insurance claim management and client relations was demonstrated, along with leadership as Director of Operations at ACS Recovery Services from 1994 to 2000, managing a recovery claims department. Laura began a legal career as an Associate Attorney with Baker & Miller (1993-1994), representing banks in commercial litigation and bankruptcy cases. Laura earned a law degree from DePaul University College of Law, following studies at Indiana University Bloomington.
