Sharon E. Williams, AAS, RHIT, RAC-CT, holds extensive experience in health information management, serving as the Director of Medical Records at Sacred Heart Free Home since October 2002 and as the Health Information Technology Coordinator at The Philadelphia Protestant Home since September 1998. In these roles, Sharon ensures the quality and accuracy of medical records, utilizing computer applications to improve patient care and manage costs. Additionally, Sharon has worked as a consultant for Health Information Professionals, focusing on systematic documentation reviews and audits. Prior experience includes a position as a Tax Associate at H&R Block, where tax planning and client financial objectives were addressed. Sharon has earned two associate degrees in Health Information Technology from Community College of Philadelphia and Lehigh Carbon Community College.
