Adekemi Adeniyan

Adekemi Adeniyan is a dynamic health professional and entrepreneur, currently serving as the Founder of Smiles Superheroes, a health EdTech and media company focused on innovative health education for African children and youth through storytelling, animation, and VR technology. Adekemi has also taken on the role of Envoy for Global South Arts in Health Week, advocating for the integration of arts in health practices. A notable fellow and alumni of multiple prestigious initiatives, Adekemi received accolades as the Best OMLA Fellow of the Year at One Million Leaders Africa and has been involved with significant health equity fellowships, including the Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity and the Aspen Institute New Voices Fellowship. Adekemi's educational background includes an MSc in Medical Leadership from Lancaster University and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from I. Ya. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, alongside other leadership courses.
