Vanessa Nastro has extensive experience in the library and archival field. Vanessa began their career in 2007 as a Reference Librarian and Archivist at Freeport Memorial Library, where they worked until 2013. In 2010, Vanessa also worked as a Library Work Scholar at Aperture Foundation. Vanessa then moved on to Adelphi University in 2011 as a Project Archivist, where they remained until 2013. From 2012 to 2015, Vanessa worked as an Art Cataloguer and Registrar at Phillips Fine Art Auctioneers. Most recently, they have been employed at the Port Washington Public Library since February 2015, holding the position of Archivist and Special Collections Librarian, Agency Head.
