Chris Essex

Originally from Saginaw, MI, Chris graduated from Michigan State, with a degree in Media and Information. He came across his first maker space in Evanston, IL, and fell in love with seeing young people learning in authentic, affirming, and creative ways. Since that moment, Chris has spent his professional career managing, developing, and facilitating learning experiences that students are excited to experience in the Chicagoland and Central Florida areas. He is happy to continue that work in Boston with The Possible Zone, in addition to helping youth create the futures they see fit for themselves.
