Abbie Banjak Merson

Abbie Banjak Merson has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Starting in 1987, they worked at CSC - Computer Sciences Corporation, Consulting Group, where they held various roles, including Accounting Systems Manager and Business Analyst. In these positions, they managed financial systems projects, led department participation in system upgrades, and worked on business process redesign and improvement.

Following their time at CSC, they joined The PostureWorks in 2008. Here, they served as the Director of Financial Operations and was responsible for overseeing accounting staff, managing the month-end process and reporting, and creating financial and operational reports for the management team. Abbie also concurrently held the positions of Office Manager/Bookkeeper and Office Manager/Customer Care, where they supervised office employees, provided customer support, and processed sales orders.

Additionally, Abbie owned Abbie's Bookkeeping from 2010 to 2013. In this role, they handled payroll, reconciliations, accounts payable, month-end close, and financial reporting for multiple clients.

Most recently, in 2022, they joined AlvaMed, Inc. as the Accounting & Office Manager.

Abbie also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Union Wadding Company from 2000 to 2004.

Abbie Banjak Merson has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Babson College. Abbie also holds an MBA degree with an emphasis on Organizational Behavior from Simmons University.
