Emily Douglas

Emily Douglas currently serves as the Director of People & Culture at The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation since January 2023. Prior to this role, Emily worked at the City of Toronto as Manager of HR Relationship Management from May 2021 to January 2023, and at the Toronto Police Service as an HR Business Partner from May 2019 to May 2021. Emily's extensive career in human resources spans over a decade at CIBC, where Emily held positions from Human Resources Consultant to Director of Human Resources between January 2006 and May 2019. Emily began a career in education as a teacher at the Toronto District School Board from September 2000 to December 2005. Educational qualifications include a Master of Industrial Relations & Human Resources from the University of Toronto, a Certified Professional Coach designation from iPEC Coaching, and dual degrees in Labour Studies & Psychology and Education from York University.
