Heidi Wagner

Heidi Wagner, BSc., PA, MBA, is a highly experienced professional in the biobanking and pathology sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Operations at the University Health Network since February 2020 and as the Head of Operations for UHN Biospecimen Services, Wagner also founded MedPath Consult LLC in August 2017, specializing in biobanking and pathology workflows. Additionally, Wagner has held roles as a consultant for Nichols Management Group since September 2019 and as Clinical Research Manager for GUBioBank at Princess Margaret Hospital since April 2018. Previously, Wagner managed tissue biospecimen operations at MD Anderson Cancer Center from May 2014 to April 2018 and was a Senior Pathologists' Assistant at Roswell Park Cancer Institute from October 2007 to 2014. Wagner holds a Global Executive MBA in Healthcare and Life Sciences from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management and a BSc in Anatomic Pathology from Wayne State University, complemented by an Associate's degree in Law and Security Administration from Fanshawe College.
