Balaji Srinivasan

Balaji (Bala) Srinivasan is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in academia and advisory roles focused on climate and sustainable growth. Currently serving as Principal Strategic Advisor at the Institute for Climate and Sustainable Growth at the University of Chicago and President of Cumberland Labs, Bala also holds the position of Executive Director at The Climate Institute of Ahmedabad University and serves as an advisor to the Science Foundation at The Pritzker Organization. As a co-founder of Climate Vault and a board member at Krea University, Bala has made significant contributions to climate initiatives. Previous roles include Global Co-Head of Digital Assets at DRW and various leadership positions at the University of Chicago, complemented by board membership at Manipal University. Academic credentials include a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Chicago and a BS in Mathematics from Caltech.
