Louis Katz currently serves as the Associate Medical Director at Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center and as the Medical Director for The Project of the Quad Cities, an organization focusing on AIDS/HIV services. Additionally, Louis holds the position of Adjunct Clinical Professor at the Roy and Lucille Carver College of Medicine, University of Iowa, and has been the Medical Director at Scott County Health Department since 1996. Previously, Louis was the Chief Medical Officer for America's Blood Centers and served in various roles at Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center, including Executive Vice President. Louis's earlier career included a position as Hospital Epidemiologist at Genesis Health System. Educational accomplishments include an MD from the College of Medicine, University of Iowa, followed by training in Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa Department of Internal Medicine.
