Simon Walker

Simon Walker is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in qualifications development and assessment management. Currently serving as the Qualification Development Manager at The Institute of Residential Property Management since October 2019, Simon previously held various leadership roles including Head of Qualifications Development at the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment from July 2007 to June 2019 and Student Assessment Manager at CIPFA from September 2005 to March 2007. Simon's career began at City and Guilds, where a tenure from July 1992 to September 2005 included several positions related to assessment delivery and a notable secondment to a joint Awarding Body project. Simon holds a 2:2 degree in European Languages and Institutions from Leeds Beckett University, earned between 1985 and 1989.
