Arjan Heeres

Arjan Heeres is a bioprocess engineering professional with extensive experience in downstream processing and process development for recombinant proteins and food waste management. Currently serving as a DSP Specialist at The Protein Brewery since July 2021, Arjan previously held roles including DSP Development Engineer at Modern Meadow and Bioprocess Engineer at Industrial/Organic. Arjan's academic background includes a PhD in Biochemical Engineering and an MSc from Delft University of Technology, complemented by early career internships and research projects that focused on enzymatic processes and biofuels. Arjan also served as Treasurer for the Proteus-Eretes rowing club, demonstrating leadership and financial management skills.
