Thomas Franks

Thomas Franks serves as the Vice President for Mission Integration at Felician University since July 2023. With extensive experience in the Capuchin Franciscan Order, Thomas has held the role of Capuchin Franciscan Priest since August 1998. From August 2017 to July 2023, Thomas was the Director of Campus Ministry and Social Action and an Adjunct Professor of Religious Studies at Manhattan College, teaching courses related to the History and Theology of the Sacraments, Saints and the Catholic Imagination, and Catholic Thought, among others. Thomas has also served in various pastoral roles including Chaplain at Holy Cross and St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Pastor at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, and Parochial Vicar at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church. Educational accomplishments include a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Manhattan University, a Licentiate degree from Sacred Heart Major Seminary, a Master of Divinity from Weston Jesuit School of Theology, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Philosophy from Fordham University, and attendance at Dartmouth College.
